I am deeply grateful to have received the micro-grant from Platform A from Art Starts, Platform A and the Toronto Arts Council (2017). This financing was vital to develop the idea for this short documentary. And above all, to know my next steps in this city of Toronto.

I will always be very grateful to all those who have been supporting me in one way or another for three years.
First, as always, my husband Chris and daughter Amélie. And a long list of people who since then follow my work and support me, all from their possibilities and ways of helping me in my artist practice.
Grateful to Jean-Marie, who suggested me to apply to the micro-grant. This was my first step in Toronto to start my creative life.
To Julian Carvajal, who supported me in the search for artists.
Cathy Aspenlieder, my dear LEF teacher. My classmates, especially Ana Paula.

Always grateful to my friend Arema Arega, who, without knowing how to edit a documentary, gave me her heart and hand. Thanks to her, I was able to present my project before my deadline ends. I will never forget that grand gesture of sister and not only did the first rough cut of my short film in the middle of so much haste. She gave me her beautiful music.
I hope we continue working together on this or other projects.
To Daniel, I will always be grateful for her excellent Voice Overwork, commitment and having him on the team.
My dear friend Alein, who without thinking got on my boat and without internet from Cuba, gave me two masterful posters and poster design ideas. Proving that friends are there to always support each other.
Where the Magic Happens – Outside your comfort zone”
Life, it is a constant spiral, today, July 13, 2020, I have awakened with the desire to put my heart back in this documentary project. And finish it. Where the Magic Happens – Outside your comfort zone”
Finishing it means following the work process, until you see it fly from my laptop, see it at festivals, events, etc., like this project that I love so much, it deserves.
And for those who don’t know about my short documentary project. I tell you that I have been trying to bring it to light for the last two years, but for many reasons, fate has stopped the process. In the end, today, I can tell you, I appreciate that this has happened.
In these three years, I have been able to visualize better the people, groups or communities that I can count on for my future work. And above all, how to walk vigorously in this jungle of asphalt.
As always, I leave my favourite music. Music, to brighten your soul and raise your spirits.

“Where the Magic Happens – Outside your comfort zone”.

Y terminarlo. Where the Magic Happens – Outside your comfort zone”
