WELCOME| BIENVENIDOS

Hola ! Hello, Welcome, Bienvenidos!

Yannis Lobaina is an award-winning Cuban artist, author, filmmaker, photographer , Podcaster and community arts facilitator based in Toronto. Yannis loves to explore themes of immigration, diaspora, language and motherhood through various storytelling tools. As a photographer, she currently focuses on minimalist photographic storytelling, landscapes, patterns, spirals, and pareídolias in nature. And the ephemeral things in daily life that sparkle magic!

Lobaina believes the arts as a powering tool for social change and peace-making. She is the founder and workshop facilitator at bilingual (Spanish-English )  creative writing art programs for children.
